Samsung "Subscribe to 'Galaxy' for 5,900 KRW/month and Buy the Latest Phone at Half Price"

Samsung Electronics will launch the 'New Galaxy AI Subscription Club' service for customers who purchase Galaxy smartphones starting from the 24th.

The New Galaxy AI Subscription Club is available to customers who purchase unlocked models and can subscribe through major sales channels such as Samsung.com and Samsung Store. Carrier models will be operated in collaboration with mobile carriers according to their policies.


Samsung Electronics stated, "The service subscription target starts from the newly unveiled Galaxy S series." Samsung is expected to unveil the new Galaxy S25 smartphone soon.


The New Galaxy AI Subscription Club offers benefits such as ▲up to 50% residual value guarantee upon device return ▲Samsung Care+ smartphone damage+ coverage ▲discounts on mobile accessories.


The up to 50% residual value guarantee means that customers who return the product after using it for 12 months will receive 50% of the Samsung.com reference price (launch price), and those who return it after 24 months will receive 40% of the reference price. Samsung Electronics explained, "Receiving the up to 50% residual value guarantee benefit is equivalent to purchasing the latest Galaxy smartphone at half price."


The New Galaxy AI Subscription Club offers subscription periods of 12 or 24 months, with a monthly subscription fee of 5,900 KRW. The monthly fee can be paid using a Samsung Card. However, the available payment cards may vary depending on the sales channel.

The product return criteria have also been significantly relaxed. Except for power failure, external damage, and account deletion issues, devices with scratches can all be returned, and there is no requirement to purchase a new device after return.


Samsung Care+ Smartphone Damage+ provides benefits such as ▲damage coverage during the subscription period ▲immediate repair cost discounts ▲on-site repair service ▲battery replacement service.
