Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Inspects Construction Site of Yeonnam-dong Public Parking Lot

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, inspected the construction site of the Yeonnam-dong public parking lot on the afternoon of the 17th.

The Yeonnam-dong public parking complex facility is being developed at 361-9 Yeonnam-dong, consisting of one basement floor and four above-ground floors, with a total floor area of 5,648.85㎡. The project aims to alleviate parking difficulties and improve the welfare of district residents.

For a thorough inspection, about 30 people including related departments such as the Mapo District Architecture Support Division, the supervision team, and the construction company were present at the site that day.

Mayor Park Gang-su, who led the inspection, focused on improvements identified during the inspection conducted in October last year.

Additionally, he inspected the ‘Hyo-do Bapsang Senior Center’ and the study cafe ‘Yeonnam Space’ being constructed on the ground floor of the parking lot.

Mayor Park Gang-su stated, “While prompt progress of the construction is important for the convenience of residents, safety is the most important above all,” and added, “I hope safety will be prioritized until the construction is completed.” He emphasized, “Mapo District will do its best to ensure that the Yeonnam-dong public parking complex becomes a facility that enhances parking convenience and the happiness of district residents.”
