Applications Accepted Through the Website Until the 7th of Next Month
The Damyang-gun Cultural Foundation (Chairman Lee Byungno, hereafter referred to as the Foundation) announced on the 17th that it is recruiting participants for the basic course to train cultural and arts professionals until the 7th of next month.
The Foundation's training program for cultural and arts professionals is an educational course aimed at nurturing experts based on Damyang's local culture. The seven-session course will be held every Thursday (the 1st and 2nd sessions on Thursday and Friday) at 5:00 p.m. from the 20th of next month to April 3rd.
This training focuses on content planning utilizing local culture and provides an opportunity to attend both practical and academic lectures on literature, festivals, performances, musicals, as well as management and marketing, delivered by experts from various fields of culture and the arts.
A Foundation representative stated, "We hope to establish a sustainable cultural industry ecosystem by nurturing professional planners in the region," and added, "We encourage the active participation of residents interested in culture, artists, and those working in related organizations."
Applications can be submitted through the Foundation's website, and up to 25 adults aged 19 and older who are interested in culture and the arts will be recruited.
Meanwhile, the Foundation also plans to offer an advanced course for those who complete the training, allowing them to directly plan programs for Damyang and Foundation festivals.
