The design of the commemorative medal is inspired by the SEVENTEEN logo, a record (vinyl), and a mine. It symbolically represents the identity of the SEVENTEEN group and the footsteps they have taken over the past 10 years.

The front side of the medal features the SEVENTEEN logo at the center, a pattern shaped like a record, the names of the 13 members on the pattern, sparkling stars, and the debut year engraved.

The back side is engraved with the titles of albums released over the years, expressing SEVENTEEN’s journey over the past decade with the SEVENTEEN symbol shining in the center of a mine.

The first commemorative medal will be released in three types: two gold medals (1oz, 1/2oz) and one silver medal (1oz), with a total limited quantity of 17,000 pieces.

The gold medals will be limited to 4,000 pieces (1,000 for 1oz and 3,000 for 1/2oz), produced and sold in quantities symbolizing one group and three units, while the silver medals will be limited to 13,000 pieces to symbolically represent the 13 members, according to KOMSCO.

Notably, the commemorative medals will be released simultaneously domestically and internationally. In Korea, they can be purchased from the 16th to the 31st of this month at the KOMSCO online mall, Weverse Shop, Poongsan Hwado Yanghaeng Co., Ltd., The Hyundai.com, Hmall, LotteON, Lotte Department Store Mall, SSG.com, Pocket CU, Our Neighborhood GS app, Daesung Metal Mall, and all branches of NongHyup Bank nationwide. Purchased commemorative medals will be delivered sequentially starting from the end of March.

The physical commemorative medals can be viewed during the pre-order period at the KOMSCO currency product sales center located in Mapo-gu, Seoul.

Seong Chang-hoon, president of KOMSCO, said, “We have strived to express SEVENTEEN’s journey and the group’s status as a world-class act through KOMSCO’s state-of-the-art embossing manufacturing technology,” adding, “A portion of the proceeds from the commemorative medal sales will be donated to meaningful causes.”
