In December of last year, the district signed a sponsorship agreement with Yeongsin Livestock and the Dongdaemun-gu branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association to promote the healthy aging of the elderly. The agreement includes provisions for supporting goods such as Korean beef ox bones and mutual cooperation to enhance senior welfare.

This donation is the first implementation following the agreement, with Yeongsin Livestock donating 1.5 tons of Korean beef ox bones to senior centers, taking the lead in cooperation to improve the health of the elderly.

The donated ox bones were delivered to 140 senior centers over the course of the 3rd, 10th, 14th, and 15th.

Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, expressed his gratitude, saying, “I thank CEO Kim Byung-hoon of Yeongsin Livestock and the officials of the Dongdaemun-gu branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association for participating in this donation,” and added, “I hope the seniors at the centers enjoy the ox bone soup and stay healthy throughout the winter.”
