Kim Youngrok, Governor of Jeollanam-do, held a New Year’s business briefing at the Seo Jae-pil Room in the provincial government office on the 15th, emphasizing, “We must do our utmost for the development of Jeollanam-do and the happiness of its residents.”

During the briefing, specific future visions and implementation plans for the development of Jeollanam-do were discussed, focusing on major issues and key policies for 2025.

The briefing was divided into five main sectors: ▲Jobs and Economy ▲Safety, Construction, and Fire Services ▲Tourism, Culture, and Environment ▲Agriculture and Fisheries ▲Population, Talent, and Welfare. Each sector included reports on key policies and in-depth discussions.

In particular, heads of Jeollanam-do’s affiliated investment and contribution organizations also attended, sharing specific tasks for each sector and seeking ways to enhance mutual cooperation. Measures to increase the effectiveness of provincial administration and strengthen synergy between institutions were also discussed.
