Jung Jin-seok, Chief of Staff to the President, said on the 15th, "In difficult times, we must fulfill our duties steadfastly in our respective positions."
The Presidential Office announced that on the same day in the afternoon, it held a Senior Secretary Meeting chaired by Chief Jung, urging everyone to fulfill their responsibilities in their respective roles.
During the meeting, Chief Jung shared the situation regarding President Yoon's appearance at the High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Office (HCIO) earlier that morning, and the Presidential Office stated that in the face of increasing uncertainties in the domestic and international environment, national security and public safety were prioritized.
Attending the meeting were Chief Jung, Shin Won-sik, Director of National Security Office, Sung Tae-yoon, Director of Policy Office, along with other key senior secretaries.
