Three-Day Tteokguk Sharing Event from the 15th to 17th
1,500 Servings Distributed to the Community
The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gyeongnam is holding the "Happy Tteokguk Sharing Event" for three days from the 15th to the 17th in celebration of Seollal, the traditional Korean Lunar New Year holiday.
Following the event held on the 15th at Geumgang Senior Welfare Center, it will continue on the 16th at Uichang Senior Welfare Center and on the 17th at Jinhae Senior Welfare Center.
About 30 members and executives of the Chamber, including Chairman Choi Jae-ho, Vice Chairmen Kim Myung-ja, Kim Hwan-tae, Lee Nyeon-ho, and Jung Hyun-sook, participated in this activity.
The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry prepared a total of 1,500 servings of tteokguk and snacks over the three days to share warm kindness.
The "Tteokguk Sharing Event" is an initiative started after the inauguration of the 5th Chairman Choi Jae-ho in 2024, aimed at building a Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry that serves and dedicates itself to the local community.
Chairman Choi stated, "In celebration of Seollal, we have united our hearts and gathered our sincerity to share warm feelings with our neighbors. In these times of economic chill, the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to continue activities that ensure the happiness of all members, enhance the value of the region, and prevent regional extinction."
