First Session to Be Held from the 20th to the 22nd
The Jeongeup Women’s New Employment Center in North Jeolla is recruiting participants for a ‘Group Counseling Program’ for women seeking employment.
According to the city on the 15th, this program is designed to help women regain confidence in finding a job by offering professional counseling, job search skills, and employment information.
The first session will be held from the 20th to the 22nd, and the program will be operated a total of 20 times.
The program is divided into two tracks according to the participant’s situation: a basic course (5 days, 20 hours) for those who have not yet set a career path, and an advanced course (3 days, 12 hours) for those who have already chosen a career direction.
Main contents include a job preference test and self-understanding to boost employment confidence, as well as strategies for successful job search such as resume and cover letter writing and interview clinics.
In particular, participants will have their activities recognized as job-seeking efforts for unemployment benefits and the National Employment Support System, and after completing the program, they can also access additional services such as mentor-mentee matching by occupation, vocational training, and the Saeil Internship.
Mayor Lee Haksoo stated, “Last year’s 100% completion rate for the group counseling program showed the strong passion women have for employment. This year as well, we have prepared a meaningful program so that women can gain confidence and succeed in finding a job, so we hope for your interest and participation.”
Any woman who wishes to find employment can apply, and for more details, please contact the Jeongeup Women’s Culture Center Women’s New Employment Center.
