To Be Held at Ilsan Lake Park from April 25 to May 11
Aiming for Participation from Over 200 Organizations and Groups from 25 Countries
The representative floral brand exhibition of the Republic of Korea, the ‘2025 Goyang International Flower Exhibition,’ will be held from April 25 to May 11 at Ilsan Lake Park in Goyang City.

According to Goyang Special City (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) on the 15th, the Goyang International Flower Exhibition, which has a history of about 30 years since the first Goyang World Flower Exhibition in 1997, is celebrating its 17th edition this year. Based on the accumulated know-how of the flower exhibition, it will welcome visitors with special floral displays and programs unique to Goyang City.
The foundation plans to host participation from over 200 organizations, associations, and companies from 25 countries both domestic and abroad. It will prepare indoor floral exhibitions and outdoor display productions that cannot be seen elsewhere, the Goyang Flower Market directly involving local flower farms, and various performances and events.
The theme of this exhibition is ‘Flowers, Imagination, and Fragrance.’ The exhibition will unfold a feast of flowers and flights of imagination that can only be seen at this event, creating an exhibition that allows visitors to reminisce about the memories and nostalgia of the event since 1997.
◇ Special Indoor Exhibitions
The indoor exhibition of the 2025 Goyang International Flower Exhibition will showcase diverse floral cultures from home and abroad, including rare and exotic plants from overseas, new varieties, and floral art displays. B2B and B2C floral business activities will also take place. Especially this year, the indoor garden production will be specialized differently from previous years, offering visitors a dazzling and moving experience distinct from typical indoor floral exhibitions.
Inside the exhibition hall, a ‘Global Floral Artist Exhibition’ will be held, where floral decorations, techniques, and cultures from around the world can be seen at a glance. Five global floral artists from five countries will be invited to present global floral decoration designs and trends, offering a special exhibition to experience floral culture and technology by country.
Additionally, a ‘Breathing Indoor Garden Reconfigured Space’ will be presented. The exhibition content will be designed for immersive visitor experiences, creating a unique tropical rainforest-like space distinct from other indoor exhibitions. The garden will feature a vertical garden approximately 20 meters long designed with large-scale greening and a ‘Flower Fragrance-Filled’ horizontal garden with themed spaces.

◇ New Outdoor Exhibitions Communicating with Nature
Since 2024, the Goyang International Flower Exhibition has expanded to the entire Ilsan Lake Park and has been discovering attractions within the park to utilize as exhibition elements. This year, beyond simply using exhibition elements within the park, it attempts to create an outdoor exhibition space inspired by the new theme ‘Flowers, Imagination, and Fragrance,’ expanding the world of imagination through communication with flowers into a sustainable world.
The foundation will showcase ‘the splendor and novelty unique to the Goyang International Flower Exhibition’ through the outdoor exhibition. Based on the analysis of 2025 gardening trends, this year’s exhibition will designate representative colors for the venue, emphasizing artistic expression through color-based planting and the use of natural scenery. The outdoor exhibition, composed of three parts?△ Culture conveyed by the scent of flowers △ Imaginative garden communicating with flowers △ Expansion into a sustainable world?will utilize the beautiful natural scenery of Ilsan Lake Park to offer visitors surprise, excitement, and beautiful impressions.
Moreover, it will present ‘unique exhibition productions exclusive to Goyang Special City and the Goyang International Flower Exhibition.’ An exotic exhibition decorated with splendid flowers, cacti, and succulents produced by about 500 flower farms in Goyang City will be created. Especially, hydrangeas and tulips filling the park’s waterfront, unique bonsai works, wildflower bonsai pieces, and a special exhibition hall for cacti and succulents will be promoted to provide visitors with a special floral experience.
Meanwhile, the Goyang International Flower Exhibition has solidified its position as a distinguished floral exhibition, having won the 2023 Korea Brand Award (Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award) as a city brand of Goyang.
This year, through selection for KOTRA’s overseas buyer attraction support project, it plans to provide a customized platform including new buyer discovery and expert consulting, and expand international exchanges by pursuing certification from the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH).
The Goyang International Flower Exhibition, as the only internationally certified floral exhibition in Korea elevated to the highest grade, is preparing to welcome visitors to Goyang City filled with the scent of flowers, aiming to establish itself as a leading event that promotes floral culture and industry and brings happiness to the local community and citizens.
