The joint design team has been conducting on-site surveys, measurements, and designs since the 13th for small-scale resident-requested projects such as village road paving, stream maintenance, and drainage maintenance. They plan to complete 227 projects worth 5.57 billion KRW by February 21.

Through this, it is expected to save about 500 million KRW in service fees and contribute to revitalizing the local economy through prompt execution.

In particular, the small-scale resident-requested project sites involve direct investigation, design, and construction promotion of small facilities (village roads, farm roads, drainage channels, and irrigation ditches). By actively reflecting the opinions of local residents from the on-site survey to completion, the satisfaction with the projects is also expected to increase.

A Yeoju City official stated, “We plan to contribute to budget savings such as service fees through in-house design and shorten the design period to place early orders for projects in February.” He added, “Small-scale resident-requested projects will be promoted and completed before the busy farming season to minimize inconvenience to residents.”
