Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital (Director Min Jungjun) announced on the 15th that it has donated 4,000 coal briquettes to support low-income and marginalized groups.


At the recent donation ceremony for the "Sharing Love with Coal Briquettes" campaign held in the hospital reception room, Director Min Jungjun, Deputy Director Kang Hocheol, and Head Nurse Lee Aekyung of Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital attended, along with Lee Jongseok, President of the Gwangju Christian Council, Jeong Seokyun, Senior Vice President, and Na Jonggap, Executive Vice President.


Since signing a business agreement with the Gwangju Christian Council in October 2022 to support medical expenses for vulnerable groups, Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital has been donating 4,000 coal briquettes every year.


Lee Jongseok stated, "Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital, which has grown into a world-class cancer hospital beyond Gwangju and Jeonnam, brings healing and hope to local residents," adding, "It is also loved for its various social contribution activities for the underprivileged. We are always grateful."


Director Min Jungjun said, "As a regional public medical institution, our hospital continues to participate in the 'Sharing Love with Coal Briquettes' campaign to enhance social practice, public image, and strengthen ties with the local community," adding, "We will continue to practice sharing in various fields in the future."
