On the 15th, the National Credit Union Federation of Korea (NACUFOK) announced that it signed a 'loan solicitation agency contract' with BankSalad on the 30th of last month, becoming the first in the mutual finance sector to provide a loan interest rate comparison service linked with the BankSalad application (app).
In June 2023, NACUFOK established Leon Branch, a business system that supports linkage with external platforms. Using this system, non-face-to-face financial product subscriptions reached approximately 42,000 cases last year.
Through this partnership, NACUFOK's mortgage loan services (living stabilization funds and home purchase funds) will be provided via the Leon Branch channel linked to the BankSalad app. All procedures required for loans, such as document submission, contract signing, and mortgage registration, can be completed non-face-to-face.
Lee Jeong-su, Head of Digital and Management Support Division at NACUFOK, said, "This partnership with BankSalad is the first case in the mutual finance sector, which will further strengthen NACUFOK's digital financial competitiveness and expand the business foundation for non-face-to-face loan products. We will continue to promote cooperation with external platforms to drive digital financial innovation."
