The comprehensive entertainment company NSE&M is taking its first step toward entering the North American market in the new year.
On the 15th, NSE&M announced that it plans to maximize synergy and strengthen global competitiveness through collaboration in the entertainment business sector with TYK Group, located in Silicon Valley, USA.
TYK Group is a Silicon Valley-based company led by Korean-American female entrepreneur Chairwoman Kim Taeyeon and owns several subsidiaries. The company was founded as Lighthouse in Vermont in 1982 and relocated to Silicon Valley in 1985, where it established the current TYK Group. Kim Taeyeon is a globally recognized entrepreneur and female leader who has received numerous awards, including the Susan B. Anthony Award, the YWCA TWIN Award, and the California Legislature Woman of the Year in 2002. Additionally, she is a certified 9th Dan Taekwondo martial artist and has been inducted into the U.S. Taekwondo Hall of Fame.
Recommended by Chairwoman Kim Taeyeon, NSE&M plans to attend the inauguration ceremony and gala dinner of President Donald Trump in Washington DC on the 20th (local time). At this event, NSE&M CEO Hwang Choi Hancho will meet with Chairwoman Kim to strengthen networks related to the entertainment business.
Furthermore, NSE&M intends to establish a collaborative relationship with WAVA Production, a media content production and broadcasting company owned by TYK Group, in the entertainment business sector. It is reported that Chairwoman Kim has shown great interest in this entertainment sector ahead of the North American debut of Ableum, a three-member girl group under the label subsidiary Massive VNC. Ableum is a new girl group consisting of Aran, Saena, and Sio.
Ableum is currently staying in the United States for an extended period ahead of their comeback, producing various content such as music videos and photo shoots. The members plan to showcase a new charm to fans with their more matured music and visuals.
NSE&M, which represents actors such as Ko Hyun-jung, Kim Kang-woo, Kim Ha-neul, and Shin Hye-sun, is expanding its scope by strengthening its content business through planning, development, and production of films and dramas, as well as recruiting renowned writers, producers, and directors.
An NSE&M official stated, "We will establish a cooperative relationship with TYK Group in the entertainment sector to create mutual synergy effects," adding, "We will continue to strive to enhance our competitiveness in the global market."
