A Large-scale Complex with 3,069 Households from 5 Basement to 27 Above-ground Floors
Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) announced on the 14th that the ‘Imun 1 Redevelopment Promotion Zone Housing Redevelopment Project (around 257-42 Imun-dong)’ was completed on the 3rd of this month and residents began moving in from the 10th.
The Imun 1 Redevelopment Promotion Zone, which began construction in August 2021, has been reborn as a residential complex named Raemian La Grande, consisting of 39 buildings ranging from 5 basement floors to 27 above-ground floors, with a total of 3,069 households.
Raemian La Grande’s Complex 1 (2,059 households) is located below the Korea National University of Arts (Seokgwan-dong campus) Traditional Arts Institute, and Complex 2 (1,010 households) is situated opposite the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (Seoul campus).
The district office formed and operated a ‘pre-consultation committee’ starting six months before the completion approval application to monitor potential issues and prepare countermeasures for a smooth completion.
Additionally, the number of members of the ‘Quality Inspection Team’ under the Housing Act was expanded from 8 to 12, and inspections were conducted twice.
From the 10th, an ‘On-site Resident Complaint Office’ was set up in the community facilities within the complex.
The ‘On-site Resident Complaint Office,’ which is scheduled to operate for about two months, provides services such as ▲moving-in registration ▲lease reporting (including issuance of a fixed date certificate) ▲issuance of resident registration certificates ▲large waste disposal reporting ▲school assignment and transfer procedures necessary when moving in.
Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, said, “With the move-in starting at Imun 1 Zone, and Hwikyung 3 Zone (June this year) and Imun 3 Zone (November this year) sequentially approaching completion, the Imun-Hwikyung area is expected to become a prestigious residential space representing Dongdaemun-gu in the future.”
