PNT Co., Ltd., a specialized manufacturer of secondary battery equipment (CEO Kim Jun-seop), donated 20 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea to be used for helping neighbors in need.
At the donation ceremony held on the 14th, Yang Geum-hee, Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs of Gyeongbuk Province, Shin Soon-woo, Head of Research Institute at PNT Co., Ltd., Ji Yeon, Head of Strategic Planning Team, and Son Byung-il, Secretary General of the Community Chest of Korea, attended to share warm hearts of neighborly love.

Headquartered in Gumi and operating factories in Chilgok and Gumi, PNT Co., Ltd. mainly produces roll-to-roll equipment for secondary batteries. As of 2023, it is a mid-sized company with sales of 536.1 billion KRW and employs 525 people on a regular basis.
Additionally, to produce cathode active materials and batteries for secondary batteries, the company plans to invest 107.7 billion KRW in the Gumi National Industrial Complex 5, establishing a new factory with a total floor area of 65,901㎡ (gross floor area 20,599㎡) and hiring 50 new employees.
Yang Geum-hee, Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs of Gyeongbuk Province, said, “We deeply appreciate PNT Co., Ltd. for generously donating despite the difficult economic conditions,” and added, “Gyeongbuk will continue to provide unwavering support necessary for companies.”
