The center is located on the 3rd floor where the operating rooms are situated, minimizing movement during emergencies and enabling rapid response.

Intervention treatment is an advanced medical field that diagnoses and treats diseases using minimally invasive methods through radiological techniques without surgery, including non-vascular and vascular procedures using angiography equipment and ultrasound.

Such interventional procedures offer advantages of quick recovery and reduced side effects, and their importance has been further highlighted by the recent remarkable advancements in radiology and intervention technologies.

Additionally, through an organic cooperative system with other medical centers such as the Liver, Biliary, and Pancreas Center and the Gastrointestinal Cancer Center, customized treatment will be provided to patients.

Jeon Woong-bae, head of the Intervention Center, stated, “Based on the latest angiography equipment and ultrasound, we will perform professional and precise interventional procedures prioritizing patient safety,” and emphasized, “By introducing the latest technologies in the intervention field, we will enhance the accuracy of vascular disease examinations and the completeness of treatments.”

Hospital Director Choi Chang-hwa said, “Busan Bumin Hospital is investing and striving greatly to improve medical quality through recruiting excellent medical staff, strengthening research capabilities, and introducing the latest medical equipment,” adding, “We expect that the improved quality of examinations and interventional procedures, along with the broad range of medical services, will increase satisfaction among patients and their caregivers.”
