Samsung Electronics Adds Two Large Sizes to 'Galaxy Ring' Series

The Galaxy Ring will be sold in a total of 11 sizes, ranging from size 5 to size 15, with the addition of large sizes 14 and 15. All sizes are available in three colors: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold, with a price of 499,400 KRW.

So far, the Galaxy Ring has been sold in a total of 38 countries, and starting next month, it will be additionally launched in 15 markets including Japan and the Czech Republic, bringing the total to 53 markets.

Equipped with Samsung Electronics' cutting-edge sensor technology, the Galaxy Ring features a comfortable and lightweight design that allows for long-term wear, enabling 24-hour close monitoring of the user's health status.

Health information measured by the Galaxy Ring can be checked in the 'Samsung Health' app.

Samsung Electronics began updating the 'Samsung Health' app from the day before to provide a more personalized sleep experience and comprehensive health management.

The 'Samsung Health' app will offer two additional sleep-related features along with the existing user sleep stage analysis and a 'Mindfulness' function.

The Mindfulness feature is provided through Samsung Health app’s integrated dashboard, offering mood tracking, breathing guides, and meditation program recommendations to help users sleep more comfortably.

The Sleep Environment Report feature, which will be implemented by linking the Samsung Health app with the SmartThings app, is scheduled to be updated within the first half of the year.

Using data collected from devices connected to the SmartThings app, it analyzes the sleep environment including indoor temperature, humidity, air quality, and light intensity, then recommends the optimal sleep environment to the user.

Additionally, through an update in the second half of the year, the Samsung Health app will analyze sleep habits and records to suggest the optimal bedtime to users, helping them form healthy sleep habits.

Park Heon-su, head of the Digital Health Team at Samsung Electronics MX Division, said, "We are pleased to provide health management solutions to more people through the launch of new Galaxy Ring sizes and expansion of launch countries." He added, "Samsung Electronics will continue to advance products and services so that people can easily manage their sleep and health."
