Small Enterprise and Market Service Receives Prime Minister's Commendation for Regulatory Reform Contributions

The Small Enterprise and Market Service announced on the 14th that it received the Prime Minister's Commendation in the group category at the 'Regulatory Reform Merit Award Ceremony.'


Held on the 13th at the Government Seoul Office, this event was organized by the Office for Government Policy Coordination to honor the contributions of organizations and individuals who have contributed to national development by alleviating public inconvenience through regulatory innovation, revitalizing the economy, and supporting the launch of new technologies and new services.

The Small Enterprise and Market Service, which received the Prime Minister's Commendation, has operated over 3 trillion won annually in small business policy funds over the past five years and has led innovative regulatory reforms to address financial blind spots and support small business owners.


In particular, it was highly praised for contributing to the management stability of small business owners through measures such as ▲expanding support for low-credit small business owners ▲broadening debt adjustment targets ▲eliminating financial blind spots ▲relaxing restrictions on emergency funds ▲supporting tax delinquency deferrals.


Park Seong-hyo, Director of the Small Enterprise and Market Service, stated, “This Prime Minister's Commendation is the result of all the employees of the Service dedicating themselves to regulatory reform and striving for the management stability of small business owners and economic revitalization.” He added, “We will continue to enhance financial accessibility for small business owners and contribute to economic development by preparing innovative support measures.”
