Bithumb Changes KRW Deposit and Withdrawal Bank to 'KB Kookmin Bank'

Bithumb announced on the 13th that the KRW deposit and withdrawal bank will change from NH Nonghyup Bank to KB Kookmin Bank at 11 a.m. on March 24.


In a notice on the same day, Bithumb stated, "The KRW deposit and withdrawal bank will be switched from NH Nonghyup Bank to KB Kookmin Bank on March 24, 2025," and added, "The pre-registration period for the bank change is scheduled to begin on January 20."


They also added, "If pre-registration is not completed, many customers may experience inconvenience or some service usage restrictions on March 24, so please complete the pre-registration to avoid any service disruptions."


Afterwards, all customers' deposits will be transferred from NH Nonghyup Bank to KB Kookmin Bank.


Customers who wish to apply for the change can link their KB Kookmin Bank account on the pre-registration page.


Until 0:00 on March 24, when the pre-registration period expires, KRW deposit and withdrawal services can only be used through NH Nonghyup Bank accounts. From 0:00 to 10:59 on the same day, service maintenance for the bank transition is scheduled, and from 11:00 onwards, KRW deposit and withdrawal services can only be used through KB Kookmin Bank accounts.


If a KB Kookmin Bank account is not registered during the pre-registration period, KRW deposit and withdrawal, KRW market trading, and bulk cancellation of unfilled orders will not be possible during the bank transition. Auto trading, lending, automated trading, and other Bithumb additional services may also be canceled or unavailable for new applications.
