Yangju Mayor Kang Su-hyun attended the '2025 Yangju SNS Supporters Appointment Ceremony' held on the afternoon of the 13th in the situation room on the 2nd floor of City Hall.

About 20 people attended the event, including Mayor Kang Su-hyun, the Yangju Public Relations Policy Officer, related officials, citizens, and youth supporters.

On this day, Mayor Kang Su-hyun presented appointment certificates to a total of 16 people, including 8 citizen supporters and 8 youth supporters selected as the '2025 Yangju SNS Supporters.'

Going forward, they will serve as a bridge between the city and its citizens by using various SNS platforms such as blogs, Instagram, and Facebook to deliver useful information in various fields within the city as well as key policies of Yangju.

Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju said, "I sincerely congratulate you on becoming active members of the 2025 Yangju SNS Supporters," and added, "I hope you will actively work as information sources that widely share news from every corner of Yangju this year as well."

Meanwhile, according to recently released 'Media Statistics Portal Data,' the usage rate of SNS (Social Network Services) is 57.6%, indicating the growing importance of SNS promotion using smartphones.

This year, Yangju City has set 'A Vibrant Yangju through Communication and Participation' as one of the seven key policy directions and plans to expand communication channels and strengthen participation with citizens through various city administration promotions using SNS, thereby implementing citizen-led administration.
