Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province will begin recruiting participants for the '2025 Jeonbuk Youth Regional Settlement Support Project' starting from the 13th.
According to the province, this project provides a monthly settlement allowance of 300,000 KRW for up to one year to young people working in various industries within the province, such as agriculture and small and medium-sized enterprises. The aim is to encourage young people to settle in the local community by supporting their livelihood stability.
Eligibility requirements include: ▲ working for at least six months in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fisheries, small and medium-sized enterprises, culture and arts, or research institutes within the province; ▲ being a youth (aged 18-39) with a household income at or below 180% of the median income; and ▲ being registered as a resident in Jeonbuk for at least one year as of the announcement date.
Detailed eligibility criteria can be found in the announcements on the Jeonbuk Provincial Office and each city and county's websites.
The application period is open until 5 PM on the 5th of next month, and applications can be submitted online through the Jeonbuk Youth Regional Settlement Support Project website.
This year, a total of 3,000 participants will be selected by city and county: Jeonju 1,329, Gunsan 463, Iksan 478, Jeongeup 141, Namwon 100, Gimje 109, Wanju 166, Jinan 25, Muju 18, Jangsu 29, Imsil 27, Sunchang 11, Gochang 49, and Buan 55.
