72 Billion KRW Invested in 67 Projects for Livestock Farmers
Hampyeong County in Jeollanam-do is now accepting applications for this year's livestock sector projects to support the management stability and competitiveness of livestock farmers.
According to Hampyeong County on the 13th, the county will invest 7.2 billion KRW in 67 livestock-related projects this year.
The main projects include: ▲ 28 types of livestock competitiveness enhancement projects tailored to farms ▲ 17 types of livestock hygiene projects such as livestock farm odor reduction supply ▲ 6 types of livestock quarantine projects such as quarantine infrastructure support ▲ 16 types of Hanwoo cattle development projects such as Hanwoo farm helper support.
Eligible applicants are farms with livestock breeding permits (registration). Livestock farmers wishing to participate should visit the industrial team at their respective town or township office to apply.
The county will complete application acceptance by the 24th of this month, and will finalize the list of beneficiaries through evaluation and review next month.
Lee Sangik, the Mayor of Hampyeong County, said, "I hope livestock farmers apply for the projects they truly need so it can help stabilize their management and increase their income," adding, "The county will also continue to work harder to strengthen local livestock competitiveness and produce high-quality livestock products."
