Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) held an orientation on the 13th at the City Hall Yeoyudang for 80 local university students participating in the 2025 Winter University Student Administrative Experience Training.

This training was organized to help university students gain practical experience by directly experiencing public sector administration sites, thereby broadening their career options after graduation.
The administrative experience training will be conducted for 20 days from the 13th to February 12th, during which the participating students will engage in 48 projects across a total of 27 departments.
At the orientation, the students received guidance on the administrative experience training, completed labor contracts, and took time to understand the youth policies promoted by the city throughout 2024 as well as the new youth policies to be implemented this year.
Mayor Joo Gwang-deok encouraged, “Through participation in the administrative experience training, I hope you will directly experience Namyangju City's administration and become key players in the journey toward becoming a 1 million mega city. I also ask for your active proposals in discovering various youth policies and citizen projects promoted by the city. Your interest and participation will make Namyangju’s future even brighter.”
During the last two days of the training, the students will participate in a cultural exploration program at the Namyangju City Museum to understand the city’s heritage and culture and to feel the connection between public work and the local community.
