The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kang Eun-hee) announced on the 13th that it will recruit about 200 '2025 School Violence Dedicated Investigators.'
The 'School Violence Dedicated Investigator (hereinafter Investigator)' is a specialized personnel for investigating school violence cases to enhance the professionalism and fairness of handling school violence incidents. When a school violence case is reported, they conduct neutral and objective investigations and report the results to related meetings such as the school violence dedicated organization, case meetings, and review committees.
Eligibility includes retired teachers, police officers with more than 2 years of relevant work experience, and those who have engaged in youth guidance, protection, or counseling activities for more than 2 years.
Applicants must check the recruitment announcement on the Office of Education’s website and submit application documents from the 13th until 5 p.m. on the 21st.
Qualified candidates will be appointed as investigators after a 'School Violence Case Investigation Report Evaluation (1st round)' and an 'Interview (2nd round).' The activity period is from March 1 of this year to February 28 of next year.
Kang Eun-hee, Superintendent of Daegu Education, said, “We hope many people with competence and passion will apply to handle school violence cases objectively and professionally,” adding, “This year, we will focus even more on preventing school violence in advance through restoring students’ relationships.”
