The Meokgol Pear Support Project aims to improve the quality and premium branding of Meokgol pears, a representative specialty of Namyangju City, and targets farmers cultivating Meokgol pears within the city.

The project consists of △ the 'Meokgol Pear Premium Branding (Pear Blossom Pollen) Support Project' to increase pear blossom pollination rates and quality, and △ the 'Meokgol Pear Agricultural Machinery (SS Machine, High-speed Sprayer) Support Project' to reduce labor and increase productivity.

Additionally, the 'Agricultural Products Joint Brand (Yeoyunong) Development Project,' which utilizes the jointly developed agricultural products brand 'Yeoyunong' to strengthen the competitiveness and premium branding of Namyangju agricultural products, will be conducted simultaneously.

This project approves the use of the joint brand 'Yeoyunong' for eco-friendly and GAP-certified farms and supports joint brand packaging materials according to the applied product items. Through this, it plans to enhance the value of local agricultural products and increase farm income.

The application period is until February 7, and applicants wishing to participate in the projects should submit the required application documents to the agricultural department of the town, township, or neighborhood office where their farmland is located.

The city will select the final project recipients through document and on-site evaluations, followed by a review by the Agricultural, Rural, and Food Industry Policy Committee.
