Jindo-gun, Jeonnam (Governor Kim Heesu) is conducting a 10% discount sale on Jindo Arirang Gift Certificates in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday.
According to the county on the 13th, this discount sale has been implemented to overcome the economic downturn and weakened consumer sentiment, and to revitalize the local economy. In particular, it is expected that during the holiday period, the economic burden on residents will be reduced and local consumption will be stimulated, leading to increased sales and economic revitalization.

The discount sale begins on the 13th, and both paper and mobile gift certificates are available at a 10% discount. The monthly purchase limit is set at 700,000 KRW per person, combining both paper and mobile certificates.
Paper gift certificates can be purchased at 18 financial institutions within the county, including Nonghyup, and the special discount will end when the issued amount is exhausted. Mobile gift certificates can be purchased at a 10% discount year-round through the "Local Gift Certificate Chak" app.
Governor Kim Heesu stated, "I hope this discount sale will help alleviate the economic burden on residents during the Lunar New Year and add vitality to the local economy."
Meanwhile, Jindo-gun sold approximately 12.6 billion KRW in paper gift certificates and 6.4 billion KRW in mobile gift certificates last year, totaling 19.1 billion KRW in Jindo Arirang Gift Certificates. The county also conducts inspections twice a year to prevent illegal distribution of the certificates and to establish a sound distribution order.
