The Ilgwang-eup Administrative Welfare Center in Gijang-gun, Busan, conducted the public-private cooperation support project "Onginanum" on the 10th.
This activity was carried out to check the safety of vulnerable groups during winter and to promote their living stability following the recent cold wave advisory. It was conducted with the participation of Ilgwang-eup honorary social welfare officers and members of the local community security council.
On that day, the participants directly visited 70 welfare crisis households identified by the Ilgwang-eup personal safety network, including village chiefs from 24 villages, delivering neighborly aid goods (10 kg of rice) and checking the safety of the recipients during the winter season.
Jo Woo-jin, head of Ilgwang-eup, said, "Despite the strongest cold wave this year, I thank the Ilgwang-eup honorary social welfare officers and council members who helped ensure the safety of neighbors around us. We will do our best to proactively identify welfare crisis households through close public-private cooperation and provide timely support."
