Eulji University (President Hong Seong-hee) recorded an employment rate of 80.4% in the 2024 University Information Disclosure, achieving the highest employment rate among four-year general and private universities nationwide (based on University Information Disclosure as of December 31, 2023, combining the main campus and campuses). This employment rate is the highest among four-year general and private universities nationwide, exceeding the average employment rate of four-year general universities (64.6%) by 15.8 percentage points.

According to Eulji University on the 13th, the detailed employment rates by campus were 100% for the Daejeon Campus, 82.7% for the Uijeongbu Campus, and 79.0% for the Seongnam Campus. By department, the Medical Department achieved 100%, followed by the Child Studies Department (90.9%), Funeral Service Department (90.9%), Dental Hygiene Department (89.8%), and Radiology Department (88.9%).

As a health and medical specialized university, Eulji University cited its differentiated competitiveness, state-of-the-art educational facilities, and highly practical employment and start-up programs as the reasons for the high employment rate.

Since 2021, Eulji University has been operating the ‘Telepresence’ hologram remote lecture system for integrated lectures across its three campuses in Daejeon, Seongnam, and Uijeongbu. Education is also conducted through various cutting-edge systems such as the ‘VR Hospital’ system, which allows students to learn medical field cases through VR, and the ‘MI Studio,’ which uses 3D printers to create prototypes of major-related ideas.

In particular, the Eulji University Career Employment and Start-up Center is gradually establishing the ‘ECS (Eulji Career Step),’ a full-cycle customized employment competency enhancement program for student employment. Additionally, various career and start-up support programs have been introduced to improve employment rates, including the △‘Responsible Advisor System’ △major-specialized employment and start-up camps △non-face-to-face mock interview test ‘AI Interview Pre-Pass’ ongoing training △Ministry of Employment and Labor Employment Center-linked programs such as the ‘National Employment System’ and ‘Company Exploration Program.’

Meanwhile, this survey was conducted by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Educational Development Institute, investigating the employment status of 646,062 graduates from universities, education universities, industrial universities, junior colleges, various schools, technical colleges, and general graduate schools as of August 2022 and February 2023, based on data as of December 31, 2023.
