Lee Jun-seok "Democrats, Tear Down the Fake Police Station... Martial Law Online"

Lee Jun-seok, a lawmaker from the Reform New Party, urged the immediate withdrawal of the 'Minju Police Station,' a false report organization operated by the Democratic Party of Korea, on the 13th.

At a press conference held at the National Assembly Communication Office that day, Lee said, "The Democratic Party setting up a fake police station to crack down on fake news is like a fraudster committing fraud first to catch other fraudsters."

He added, "As a political party, it should not use the names of public offices such as police stations or detention centers," and demanded, "The Democratic Party must immediately dismantle the fake police station."

Lee explained, "There was a crazy president who declared martial law to crack down on fake news, but it is also a very serious problem that a public party on the other side sets up a fake police station to promote cracking down on fake news."

He pointed out, "If you visit the fake police station website, it imitates police marks and has menus like prison, detention center, self-defense techniques, and situation board, making it easy to mistake it for a law enforcement agency. Discerning fake news is a matter of wise citizens' own judgment, and it cannot be solved by declaring martial law online."

Right after the press conference, Lee emphasized to reporters, "If this site is not taken down as soon as possible, we will have no choice but to request an investigation from the relevant authorities."
