Outstanding Students of Kazakhstan Almaty Korean Education Center Visit Dong-Eui Science University

Study Abroad Briefing and Department Experience Program for Kazakhstani Students

Dong-Eui Science University (President Kim Young-do) announced on the 13th that from the 8th, a group of 27 outstanding students and 4 chaperones from the Almaty Korean Education Center in Kazakhstan visited the university for 3 days and 2 nights.

This event was organized through cooperation between the Busan Global City Foundation and local universities to provide students wishing to study in Busan with an opportunity to experience Korean university culture. Dong-Eui Science University welcomed the visiting group at the student dormitory, offering dormitory experience and various programs.

During the event, an overseas study briefing session and department experience programs were held. The briefing introduced the educational characteristics of Dong-Eui Science University and its support system for international students, as well as the foreign resident model established through the creation of domestic resident-type employment-linked departments and departments dedicated to international students.

Following this, during the on-campus department experience session, participants engaged in nail art experience with the K-Beauty department and basic emergency first aid (BLS) practical training. The participating students showed great interest and satisfaction by directly experiencing Korea’s education system through practical and specialized classes. A certificate awarding ceremony was also held after the experience.

Kim Young-do, President of Dong-Eui Science University, said, “Through this program, we were able to showcase the excellence of Dong-Eui Science University to Kazakhstani students and instill a positive image of academic life and living in Korea. We will continue to operate international exchange programs to expand our global network with students from various countries.”

Dong-Eui Science University plans to accelerate efforts to attract more international students from Kazakhstan and strengthen global cooperation based on this visit.
