Yongsan-gu Opens Huam Choroksoop Seoul-Style Kids Cafe 2nd Branch

1,000 KRW Per Hour Usage Fee for Infants and Toddlers Aged 0 to 36 Months

Yongsan-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Park Hee-young) announced on the 13th that it will officially operate the newly established Seoul-style kids cafe, 'Huam Choroksoop Kids Cafe,' located inside Huam Church (8 Huam-ro 13-gil).

Huam Choroksoop Seoul-style Kids Cafe is a public indoor play space where children can play safely and freely. It was created by renovating the existing 'Dutumdol Daycare Center.'

Huam Choroksoop Seoul-style Kids Cafe has a dedicated area of 133.01㎡ and is equipped with play areas, community and rest spaces, a nursing room, children's restrooms, and other play and convenience facilities.

Operating hours are ▲1st session: 10 AM to 12 PM ▲2nd session: 1 PM to 3 PM ▲3rd session: 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with each session lasting 2 hours. It operates from Monday to Saturday every week.

Infants and toddlers aged 0 to 36 months residing in Seoul can use the facility. The capacity is up to 10 people per session (maximum 20 including guardians). Children must be accompanied by a guardian or supervisor to enter.

The fee per use is 1,000 KRW each for the child and guardian. Up to two guardians are allowed. Those with a Multi-child Card can enter free of charge. To use the facility, reservations can be made by applying for the desired time slot within the reservation period through the 'Seoul Our Neighborhood Care Portal.' Reservations are available starting from the 13th of this month.

District Mayor Park Hee-young said, “We are grateful to Huam Church for providing a space where children can play freely,” and added, “We will continue to expand facilities to reduce the economic burden on parents and create an environment where children can play safely.”
