The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Kbiz), in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Finance, announced on the 12th that it will officially operate the 'SME Express Hotline' to promptly resolve on-site regulations and difficulties faced by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners, and will begin accepting proposals.
The SME Express Hotline is a public-private joint online platform through which SMEs and small business owners can transparently check the processing status of their submitted proposals, and government officials are required to respond with review results within 30 days.
Any SME or small business owner with matters to propose to the government can use the service at any time, and applications can be made through the Kbiz website.
Choo Moon-gap, Head of the Economic Policy Division at Kbiz, stated, “Due to recent domestic political situations and the inauguration of the new U.S. administration, the internal and external uncertainties surrounding our economy have increased, intensifying the difficulties felt by SMEs and small business owners. We hope that the SME Express Hotline will become a key channel for close communication between the government and businesses to overcome the current crisis.”
