Yeonsu-gu, Incheon has established a plan to manage outdoor advertisements with the goal of creating a pleasant and safe street environment and fostering an advanced advertising culture.
The district operates an 'Automatic Warning Transmission System' to manage illegal advertisements, implements a 'Pre-approval Routing System for Outdoor Advertisements' that requires passing through the outdoor advertisement department during permits, and promotes a 'Collection Reward System' that compensates residents for collecting illegal advertisements.
In particular, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of its establishment, Yeonsu-gu is launching a new 'Beautiful Signboard Design Contest' and simultaneously conducting the 'Illegal Outdoor Advertisement OUT' campaign, which is based on a public-private cooperation system.
Additionally, according to the management plan, the district will conduct a year-round comprehensive cleanup of advertisements posted indiscriminately, such as expired official banners and illegal mobile advertisements.
Furthermore, Yeonsu-gu will continuously operate the 'Location-based Viewing Service for Outdoor Advertisement Display Regulations,' which allows easy search of outdoor advertisement display regulations based on maps, enhancing user convenience.
Outdoor advertisements refer to advertisements installed outside buildings, including signboards, banners, and screens, and it is essential to check the outdoor advertisement display regulations for the relevant address before installation.
A Yeonsu-gu official stated, "We will do our best to create a pleasant urban environment to prevent the occurrence of illegal advertisements and to establish a proper advertising culture."
