Increased by 10,000 KRW from last year
Available for use in culture, tourism, and more

The Daegu Cultural Foundation (Director Park Soon-tae) announced on the 10th that through the Cultural Nuri Card (Integrated Cultural Voucher) project, which is promoted to realize cultural welfare, an annual amount of 140,000 KRW will be provided to 156,330 eligible recipients in the Daegu area this year.

The Cultural Nuri Card (Integrated Cultural Voucher) is a public project that supports culture and arts, domestic travel, and sports activities for basic livelihood security recipients and near-poverty groups aged 6 and above to improve quality of life and reduce cultural disparities. The card support amount for 2025 has been raised by 10,000 KRW compared to 2024, to 140,000 KRW annually, which is expected to provide more cultural benefits.

The card can be used at Cultural Nuri affiliated stores nationwide in the fields of culture and arts (books, music, movies, cable TV, performances, exhibitions, crafts, photo studios, cultural experiences), tourism (transportation, travel agencies, tourist attractions, campsites, hot springs, theme parks, accommodations), and sports (sports viewing, sports goods, sports facilities).

Information on about 30,000 online and offline affiliated stores nationwide can be found on the Cultural Nuri website, Cultural Nuri app, and Naver Place.

The benefits of the Cultural Nuri Card extend beyond the support funds to include discounts. Discounts are available at various affiliated stores such as performance venues including Daegu Culture and Arts Center, Daegu Concert House, Daegu Opera House, as well as Daegu Aquarium, E-World, Daegu Samsung Lions Park, and DGB Daegu Bank Park.

Even after the annual support funds are exhausted, users can continue to receive discount benefits by depositing their own recharge funds onto the card, and combined use with one card is possible within the same household.

Starting in 2024, a service is provided that allows convenient payment with the Cultural Nuri Card through private apps (Naver Pay) without a physical card.

For existing users whose eligibility is maintained, the 2025 support funds will be automatically charged to the card without a separate application process.

Bang Sung-taek, Head of the Culture and Arts Division at the Daegu Cultural Foundation, said, “We will discover new affiliated stores so that Cultural Nuri Card users can enjoy more cultural benefits, and actively promote the service so that users in cultural blind spots can use it more easily.”
