Daegu Shinbo Provides Up to 30 Million Won Guarantee Support to Small Business Owners in Jung-gu, Daegu

Daegu Credit Guarantee Foundation (Chairman Park Jin-woo) announced that it will implement the ‘2025 Jung-gu Small Business Management Stabilization Fund Special Guarantee’ starting February 1 to support the alleviation of debt burdens for small business owners experiencing management crises due to the prolonged economic downturn.


On the 9th, Daegu Credit Guarantee Foundation signed a business agreement with Daegu Jung-gu Office and IM Bank Jung-gu Branch to support small business management stabilization. According to this agreement, Jung-gu Office has contributed 300 million KRW to Daegu Credit Guarantee Foundation, which will implement a special guarantee worth a total of 3 billion KRW for small business owners in the Daegu Jung-gu area.

The support targets businesses operating for more than three months with business locations in Daegu Jung-gu, providing guarantees of up to 30 million KRW per company through IM Bank Jung-gu Branch.


In particular, Jung-gu Office will support 2% of the loan interest for two years, and Daegu Credit Guarantee Foundation will offer preferential guarantee fees (fixed at 0.8% per annum), which is expected to help reduce the financial burden on small business owners and overcome management difficulties.


Meanwhile, small business owners who want an easy and fast guarantee application can apply for guarantees and submit documents conveniently without visiting a branch through ‘Guarantee Dream (Regional Credit Guarantee Foundation Integrated Platform).’


Ryu Gyu-ha, Mayor of Daegu Jung-gu, said, “I hope this support project will ease the management burdens of small business owners struggling due to the economic downturn and contribute to revitalizing the local economy. We will continue to promote various policies together with the two institutions to support the management stabilization of small business owners in Jung-gu.”


Meanwhile, Park Jin-woo, Chairman of Daegu Credit Guarantee Foundation, stated, “Taking this special guarantee implementation as an opportunity, we will further strengthen cooperation not only with Jung-gu but also with other basic local governments and actively supply guarantees to small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners facing management difficulties in the region.”
