BoeurBoeur to Fully Launch Franchise Business in 2025

‘Boeur Boeur,’ the only premium butter ice cream house in Korea, is launching a franchise business this year.

Boeur Boeur is a brand that offers high-quality ice cream based on “82% French butterfat,” gaining great popularity among the MZ generation with its American vintage concept, 15 distinctive flavors, and unique designs.

Representative flavors include ‘▲KooBuhKooBuh,’ a harmony of cookies and butter, ‘▲Nutty Peanut Butter,’ a savory and sweet feast full of nuttiness, and ‘▲Melo Mango,’ which combines fragrant melon and sweet mango.

The brand continuously introduces various new menu items using ice cream. In particular, the signature menu ‘▲Ice Cream Burger,’ featuring ice cream inside a crispy crumble bun, and the recently launched unique menu ‘▲Ice Cream Gim,’ which wraps rice-flavored ice cream in seaweed, have attracted significant attention. Content related to ‘Ice Cream Gim’ has proven its popularity by surpassing 2 million views on Instagram.

Starting with the Seongsu flagship store, which sells 2,000 scoops daily and continuously breaks its own sales records, Boeur Boeur currently operates a total of 12 directly managed stores, including the Anguk flagship store, The Hyundai Seoul, Lotte Department Store, and Shinsegae Department Store.

A Boeur Boeur representative stated, “Since opening the flagship store last August, we have rapidly expanded the brand by opening 12 stores nationwide in about seven months. Currently, dozens of franchise inquiries are received daily at headquarters. After much consideration to broaden customer contact points nationwide, we decided to start the franchise business. We hope many people can conveniently enjoy high-quality ice cream that suits their tastes closer to home.”

This franchise business is being carried out jointly by ‘Virtue Company,’ which owns the brand IP, and lifestyle platform company ‘Better Monday Korea.’ They plan to focus on increasing franchise sales through new beverage and menu launches and strengthening delivery services.
