Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation Recruiting Tenants for Jeonse Rental Housing

130 Households to Be Selected as Tenants

Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 10th that it will recruit tenants for Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) jeonse rental housing from the 13th to the 24th to stabilize housing for vulnerable groups in the city.

The jeonse rental housing being recruited this time refers to housing where the selected tenant searches for a desired house within the support limit amount, and Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation signs a jeonse contract with the owner of the house and subleases it to the tenant. A total of 130 households will be selected to supply housing with an exclusive area of 85㎡ or less.


Eligibility requirements are as of the announcement date (December 20, 2024), for households registered as homeless in Uijeongbu City, including △priority 1 recipients (livelihood, medical benefits) △single-parent families under protection △near-poor households with a rent-to-income ratio of 30% or more (including recipients of housing and education benefits) △disabled persons with a monthly average income of 70% or less of the previous year's urban worker household income △near-poor persons aged 65 or older (including recipients of housing and education benefits), and as priority 2, households with a monthly average income of 50% or less of the previous year's urban worker household income △disabled persons with 100% or less income and national veterans recommended by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.


The lease period is 2 years, and after the initial period, priority 1 tenants can renew without limit every 2 years, while priority 2 tenants can renew up to 14 times.
