Won 6 Ministerial Commendations... Dong-Eui University Staff Recognized for Contributions to University Administration Development

Multiple Ministerial Commendations Awarded to Dong-Eui University Faculty and Staff
Kim Namsoo, Head of External Cooperation, and Lee Dongyuk, Head of Employment Support, Recognized by Ministries of Education and Employment and Labor

Faculty and staff recently received multiple ministerial commendations at once, bringing good news to Dong-Eui University (President Han Suhwan). The university received as many as six commendations from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

On the 10th, Dong-Eui University announced that its staff achieved great success by receiving numerous awards in recognition of their contributions to the advancement of university administration in 2024.

Namsoo Kim, head of the External Cooperation Team, was selected as a meritorious person in the field of public relations development and received a commendation from the Minister of Education. Mr. Kim was recognized for his contributions to enhancing the university’s internal and external image, strengthening university competitiveness, serving as the president of the Korea University Public Relations Council, and promoting the university within the local community.

Kyungryul Baek, a staff member of the Academic Affairs Team, received a commendation from the Minister of Education as a meritorious person in university faculty personnel affairs for his contributions to improving the quality of faculty evaluation and performance management systems.

Jinwoo Park of the Planning Team received a commendation from the Minister of Education for his contributions to the development of university information disclosure through fair execution of tasks such as self-assessment while serving as the person in charge of university information disclosure.

Miyoung Choi from the Graduate School was selected as an outstanding academic management staff member and received a commendation from the Minister of Education for her contributions to developing programs related to the graduate school academic system.

Nanhui Kim of the Field Practice Support Center was selected as a meritorious person for revitalizing student field practice by establishing a field practice system while managing the field practice semester system and professional manpower training courses, and received a commendation from the Minister of Education.

Dongyuk Lee, head of the Employment Support Team, received a commendation from the Minister of Employment and Labor for his recognized contributions to pioneering career paths and employment for local youth through exemplary operation of the University Job Plus Center and customized employment service projects for enrolled students.

Han Suhwan, president of Dong-Eui University, said, “I am grateful to the staff who have actively responded to the rapidly changing university education system and devoted themselves to administrative work,” adding, “Although the university still faces difficult internal and external environments, I hope everyone will do their best with a sense of mission for our future youth.”
