Sharing Achievements and Future Directions of the Jowon Government Building Space Restructuring Project
Suggestions for Substantial Space Creation by Linking with Talent Development Bureau Initiatives
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Tae-hee) announced on the 10th that it held a roundtable meeting on the 8th at the Jowon Government Building with key executives and project managers from the Talent Development Bureau. They agreed to join forces to carry out a substantial restructuring project of the Jowon Government Building space.

The roundtable meeting was attended by Oh Chan-sook, Director of the Talent Development Bureau, as well as heads and staff from the Education Capacity Policy Division, Administrative Capacity Policy Division, and Talent Development Support Division.
This consultation meeting was organized to specify the direction of the ongoing Jowon Government Building space restructuring project and to explore ways to actively utilize the Jowon Government Building in the future by facilitating communication between departments.
At the meeting, in-depth discussions were held on △ a space to reflect on important moments in Gyeonggi education (digital archive) △ a digital-based classroom training room for cultivating core digital talents in Gyeonggi education △ an education research group activity room that draws new horizons for future education in Gyeonggi △ a space supporting large-scale events (conference room) △ establishment of an advanced workspace (smart office) linked with the Southern Government Building △ and the composition of a caf? and open space that can be used together by faculty, students, and parents.
Oh Chan-sook, Director of the Talent Development Bureau, stated, “The Jowon Government Building must remove barriers to support the autonomous research culture of all faculty members of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education and to enable diverse and innovative discussions on educational development.” She added, “We will actively communicate to ensure that the Jowon Government Building becomes a future education hall that remembers the history of Gyeonggi education and opens a new future in the era of digital transformation through current efforts such as various training programs.”
