Yeosu City Recruiting Partners for Middle and High School Student Education Voucher Support Program

Vocational Skills, Crafts, and Arts Fields
Year-Round Applications Accepted Starting from the 13th

Yeosu City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Chung Kimyung) announced that it will be accepting applications year-round starting from the 13th of this month for partner institutions to participate in the 2025 Education Voucher Support Program for low-income middle and high school students.


This program aims to provide diverse learning opportunities and reduce educational expenses for middle and high school students from low-income families (at or below 50% of the median income) in the region by supporting part of their academy tuition fees (100,000 KRW per month) through a voucher card.

Yeosu City Recruiting Partners for Middle and High School Student Education Voucher Support Program Yeosu City will continuously recruit affiliated stores participating in the 2025 education voucher support project for low-income middle and high school students starting from the 13th of this month. Provided by Yeosu City

The eligible fields for recruitment are: ▲Vocational and technical skills (computer, machinery, chemical engineering, design, beauty, cooking, baking, barista) ▲Skills and crafts (Korean traditional music, vocal music, baduk, speech, crafts, pottery, dance, calligraphy, comics, modeling, etc.) ▲Arts (music, fine arts, dance), and the institutions must be academies or private institutes registered with the Yeosu Office of Education.


Partner institutions wishing to participate should prepare the required documents, including an application form, business registration certificate, and a copy of their bank account, and submit them either in person to the Lifelong Education Division at City Hall or by mail.


A city official stated, "We hope for the active interest and participation of local academies and private institutes so that the education voucher support program can be further revitalized."
