Writer So Jae-won publicly targeted actor Choi Jun-yong, who openly expressed support for President Yoon Suk-yeol, once again.
On the 8th, So Jae-won shared an article related to his criticism of Choi Jun-yong the previous day through his social media (SNS). He continued, "And why is that person my senior? Can you say that genuine and counterfeit are the same company brand?" He said, "I acknowledge the connection between bags and shoes of the same company brand, but counterfeits are different." Then he added, "It’s not just a difference in texture or thought, how can someone who supports a traitorous criminal be a senior? Young guy? That’s shameful. Compared to the university students who led democracy in the past, I’m already like an uncle. Those who call me a young guy, are you old guys?"

So Jae-won also targeted Choi Jun-yong on the 7th. Referring to Choi attending a rally supporting Yoon Suk-yeol, he said on his Instagram, "Was this person even an actor? Is an actor who was forced to retire because he couldn’t act still an actor? It’s not that his acting is old-fashioned, but he simply can’t act and can’t even appear in works, so why write articles calling him an actor?" He continued, "This industry is harsh. Directors, writers, actors?if you have no skills, no one hires you, and you yourself don’t even show your business card anywhere. It’s embarrassing to take a break from acting. If you were forced to retire due to lack of skill, just live quietly. Don’t disgrace real actors by trading on the name of actor."
He added, "Even unnamed bit-part actors are more passionate and better at acting than you when you go to the set. That’s why they don’t hire you. It’s not that they don’t have bit parts to give, but because you don’t have the skill." He went on, "Our actors live by their acting alone.
