Dongguk University Institute for North Korean Studies Holds New Year Forum on Prospects for Inter-Korean Relations

The Institute for North Korean Studies at Dongguk University announced on the 10th that it held a New Year forum to evaluate and forecast inter-Korean relations and the North Korean situation in 2025.


Dongguk University Institute for North Korean Studies Holds New Year Forum on Prospects for Inter-Korean Relations

The forum took place from 10 a.m. at the Social Sciences Building of Dongguk University in Jung-gu, Seoul, with invited experts including Dr. Lee Mu-cheol from the Korea Institute for National Unification, Dr. Choi Yong-hwan from the Institute for National Security Strategy, Dr. Kim Su-jeong from the Korea Institute for Industrial Economics and Trade, and Professor Hwang Jin-tae from Dongguk University's Department of North Korean Studies.


On the day, the invited experts presented sequentially on ▲ Prospects for inter-Korean relations and North Korea's strategy toward South Korea (Dr. Lee Mu-cheol) ▲ Prospects and issues in North Korea-U.S. negotiations (Dr. Choi Yong-hwan) ▲ North Korea's economic policy and industrial sector outlook (Dr. Kim Su-jeong) ▲ Prospects for social changes in North Korea (Professor Hwang Jin-tae).
