Honam University announced on the 9th that more than 20 faculty members from the Department of Nursing (headed by Ha Yoonju) participated in the 2025 Winter Nursing College Clinical Instructor Training Program.
This program, held on the 7th and 8th in collaboration with the Nursing Department of Chonnam National University Hospital, was conducted to strengthen the teaching competency of faculty members by acquiring the latest clinical knowledge.
The Department of Nursing is conducting faculty training in cooperation with local community teaching hospitals where nursing students carry out their clinical practice, aiming to bridge the gap between the rapidly changing medical field and the educational field.
Through this, participants have the opportunity to learn about the missions and visions required by medical institutions for universities and nursing students, the qualities sought by medical institutions, and the various preparations that current students need to make for employment.
In addition, through inter-institutional cooperation regarding the management of current employees and prospective employees and strategies for employment retention, the program serves as an opportunity to improve the employment rate of current students.
