Shin Kyuk-ho Lotte National Love Local Unit Support Project Handover Ceremony
On the 8th, Lotte Samdong Welfare Foundation announced on the 9th that it held the 2025 Shin Kyuk-ho Lotte Patriotism Local Unit Support Project delivery ceremony at the Daeam Unit located in Ulju-gun, Ulsan Metropolitan City, the hometown of Lotte Group founder Honorary Chairman Shin Kyuk-ho, to celebrate the Lunar New Year holiday.
The Shin Kyuk-ho Lotte Patriotism Local Unit Support Project, carried out by Lotte Samdong Welfare Foundation for 16 years since 2010, is a program that supports the local defense military units in Ulju-gun who work hard for the country every Chuseok and Lunar New Year. Through this delivery ceremony, the foundation provided food ingredients worth about 5 million won, including beef and pork, to 120 soldiers and officers belonging to the Daeam Unit.

A representative of Lotte Samdong Welfare Foundation said, "We hope that the foundation’s warm heart will be conveyed to the soldiers and officers of the Ulju-gun Daeam Unit, who have been working hard to defend the homeland from the beginning of the new year," and added, "This year as well, we plan to continue active activities to practice Honorary Chairman Shin Kyuk-ho’s love for his hometown and to promote the development and welfare expansion of the Ulsan region."
Meanwhile, Lotte Samdong Welfare Foundation was established in 2009 by Honorary Chairman Shin Kyuk-ho to support the underprivileged and talent development in the Ulsan area.
