As the name suggests, the exclamation "Wow" naturally came out.

This was my impression upon seeing Mom's Touch's pizza brand 'Mom's Pizza' new menu item, the 'Wow (WOW) Meat Pizza.' It was topped with six kinds of meat toppings?bacon, burger patty, pepperoni, steak, bulgogi, and pork?so generously that they covered the edges commonly called the 'pizza crust.'

The second wow point was the taste. The Wow Meat Pizza is a quattro-style pizza that allows you to experience four flavors at once: ▲charcoal-grilled steak ▲premium bulgogi ▲cheese melting burger patty ▲original pepperoni.

The first bite of the charcoal-grilled steak revealed large steak pieces that blended with grilled tomatoes and a subtle truffle aroma, creating a luxurious flavor. Although it was not a thin crust, the dough was not thick, which had the advantage of letting the toppings' flavors stand out more. Especially, the steak topping was tender, which added to the satisfaction.

The premium bulgogi offered the typical bulgogi pizza flavor beloved by Koreans. The beef was infused with a sweet soy sauce, delivering an excellent umami taste. The cheese melting burger patty combined a savory and slightly salty cheese melting sauce with bacon and burger patty, evoking a taste reminiscent of America. Lastly, the original pepperoni, true to its name, provided the classic pepperoni pizza flavor that could be enjoyed without any divisiveness.

Each of the four flavors had abundant toppings, sauces, and cheese, clearly defining their taste identities. At the same time, the flavors harmonized rather than clashing, enhancing the overall appetite appeal. A representative from Mom's Touch & Company explained, "The Wow Meat Pizza is the final result after the developers ate hundreds of pizzas over six months. In developing this new pizza, we paid particular attention to ensuring that the four pizza flavors did not stand out excessively but harmonized well."

The final wow point of the Wow Meat Pizza was its 'cost-effectiveness.' The new product is priced at 18,900 KRW for size M and 22,900 KRW for size L. Recently, pizza prices have soared, with most franchise M-size pizzas easily exceeding 20,000 KRW. For L size, the majority are priced above 35,000 KRW. Considering this, the Wow Meat Pizza's cost-effectiveness can be described as 'Godseongbi (God + cost-effectiveness).'

The background enabling Mom's Pizza to achieve this Godseongbi lies with Mom's Touch. Mom's Pizza is mainly located inside existing Mom's Touch stores in a 'shop-in-shop' format. This allows them to use key ingredients such as toppings and sauces from Mom's Touch menus, reducing costs through economies of scale. For example, the cheese melting burger patty on the Wow Meat Pizza shares ingredients with Mom's Touch's signature bulgogi burger. Before the Wow Meat Pizza, Psy Pizza, which made Mom's Pizza's name known, also uses chicken patties from the Psy Burger as ingredients.

Meanwhile, the number of Mom's Pizza stores totals 152. Compared to 85 stores in June last year, this is a 79% increase in just seven months. Even as of October last year, there were 136 stores. Mom's Pizza opened its first store near Hwarangdae Station in Seoul in 2021 and began full-scale franchising in May last year. A representative from Mom's Touch & Company said, "Including stores waiting to open, the goal is to operate 155 stores by the end of January."
