On the 8th at 11 a.m., Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, attended the 'Kaposeu Nowon-gu Branch Warm Winter Love Donation Ceremony' held in the mayor's office.
Kaposeu Nowon-gu Branch (Branch Chief Lee Kyung-jae) is an automobile specialized maintenance business (car center) association composed of 58 automobile repair shop members in the area. Every year, during the Chuseok holiday when long-distance driving is frequent, they contribute steadily to the development of the local community by providing free vehicle maintenance services as a form of talent donation.
This donation ceremony was an occasion to deliver a donation of 4.5 million won prepared by the Kaposeu Nowon-gu Branch to help neighbors in need within the community. The donation was collected through donation boxes placed at repair shops affiliated with the branch, where customers could voluntarily donate instead of paying for tire air pressure refill costs.
The ceremony was attended by Mayor Oh Seung-rok, Lee Kyung-jae, Branch Chief of Anycar Land (Nowon Branch), Oh Jae-pil, Vice Branch Chief of Joeun Car Center, and Kim Jeong-yeol, Treasurer of Madeul Car Center, and proceeded with the donation ceremony followed by a commemorative photo session.
Mayor Oh Seung-rok of Nowon-gu said, “Thank you for always remembering and supporting the neighbors in need every year,” and added, “We will strive to spread a warm culture of sharing.”
