Sangmyung University Hosts 'SM JOB MAP Expo' for College Life Planning

Sangmyung University announced on the 10th that it successfully held the 'SM JOB MAP Expo' for prospective freshmen and their parents for the 2025 academic year at Hannuri Hall on the Cheonan Campus to help them plan their university life in advance.

The 'SM JOB MAP Expo' took place on the 7th with the participation of about 200 prospective freshmen and their parents who wish to enroll at Sangmyung University.

The event included welcome speeches by President Hong Seong-tae and Cheonan Campus Vice President for Academic Affairs Ahn Beom-jun, a career special lecture titled "Career Choices Using the Career Employment System" by Moon Hyun-ho, Chief Senior Consultant of the Sangmyung University Career Plus Center, customized consultations on majors and career paths after graduation guided by alumni and professors, and counseling and guidance on the career employment system provided by the Sangmyung University Career Plus Center.

Kwon Ji-eun, Director of the University Career Headquarters, stated, "At Sangmyung University, through the connection between professors and professional counseling consultants centered on the Career Plus Center, 37,160 career and employment specialized consultations are conducted annually." She added, "Starting from the 2025 academic year, Sangmyung University is strengthening students' freedom of major choice by easing the transfer system and expanding integrated admissions such as the liberal major program."
