Ulju-gun Selected as Top Institution in 'Comprehensive Information Disclosure Evaluation'

Ulsan City Ulju-gun was selected as the best institution in the '2024 Comprehensive Information Disclosure Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

The Comprehensive Information Disclosure Evaluation is conducted annually by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to assess the operation status of information disclosure across more than 550 institutions nationwide, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions.

The evaluation is carried out through quantitative and qualitative assessments on 11 indicators across five areas: prior information disclosure, original document disclosure, information disclosure request processing, customer management, and system operation.

In this evaluation, Ulju-gun scored 91.8 points, higher than the basic local government-county type average of 85.96 points, earning a 'Best' grade. This is an increase of 21.6 points from the 'Average' grade in 2023, rising by two grades.

Notably, Ulju-gun received perfect scores in four of the 11 evaluation indicators: number of prior information disclosure registrations, completeness of original information, appropriateness of detailed non-disclosure criteria, and customer demand analysis.

County Governor Lee Soon-geol stated, “We will actively respond to the information needs of Ulju-gun residents by guaranteeing their right to know and proactively promoting information disclosure, and strive to operate a user-centered information disclosure system.”
