Uljin-gun Provides 39.5 Million Won for Heating Costs to 300 Households and 13 Welfare Facilities

Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Head: Lee Seyong) held a 'Heating Cost Support Delivery Ceremony for Energy-Vulnerable Groups in Uljin County' at the Uljin County Office on the 7th.

The Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters delivered a total of 39.5 million KRW in heating costs to 300 households and 13 social welfare facilities within the jurisdiction. Every year, 100,000 KRW in heating costs is provided per eligible household, and this year, the support was expanded to include welfare facilities as well.

Son Byungbok, the county governor, said, “I am grateful for the meticulous care and generous support to help local residents get through the cold winter. Thanks to the Hanul Headquarters, which consistently leads and continues sharing activities, the will to cooperate has become stronger.”

Lee Seyong, head of Hanul Headquarters, said, “I hope this will provide some help to neighbors struggling due to the cold wave this winter. We will always consider and implement ways to improve energy welfare that local residents can feel.”
